    Ordering Information

    If a phone order is followed by a purchase order, the purchase order must be marked "confirming" to avoid duplicate shipping.

    Terms of Sale

    Terms are Net 10 or Net 30 (upon credit approval). Outstanding past-due balances subject to 1.5% per month.

    Credit

    For new accounts to establish credit we require a bank reference plus two trade references. To be eligible for terms, please fill out a credit application.

    Shipping and Handling

    Tape orders over $500 in professional products receive free shipping. Free shipping excludes bulk VHS, consumer goods, packaging, lamps, cases, sleeves, and batteries & all equipment. Shipments to Hawaii and Alaska do not qualify for free shipping. We reserve the right to ship complete. All orders will be shipped UPS Ground unless otherwise specified. Exception: Bulk VHS drop shipped from manufacturer. See notes below.

    Drop Ship Policy

    Tape can be drop shipped direct from the manufacturer (excluding Alaska and Hawaii) in caseload quantities.

    The manufacturer has set minimums for free shipping:

    Maxell - over $500 for Bulk VHS, $1000 for Data Media and DVD's, Quantegy - over $1000 Fuji - over $1000.

    Freight Shortages or Damages

    All shipments must be inspected carefully before signing the freight bill. The customer must note all damage, shortage, or loss directly on the freight bill. Concealed damage is the responsibility of the customer and must be reported to the carrier at time of equipment delivery. Failure to do so places responsibility for loss with the customer. The customer must take necessary steps to obtain carrier damage inspection reports. Tape Central's Customer Service department must be notified at 614-848-5222, so that we can help the customer obtain a claim settlement.

    Return Policy

    Tape may not be returned without a return authorization number, which must be obtained within 30 days of receipt. No credit will be issued on any unauthorized return. All returns are subject to 15% restocking fee. Returned tape must be shipped to Tape Central Inc prepaid. ALL SALES FINAL ON EQUIPMENT.

    Credit Cards

    Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express are accepted. (THIS EXCLUDES VIDEO EQUIPMENT AND BID PRICING UNLESS PREARRANGED.)
